Home Remedies Can Assist Louse Treatment
Home Remedy for Head louse
Two of my children, aged 5 and 7, were infested with head louse recently.
A number of applications of permethrin and phenothrin were ineffective, although I noticed that some adult louse did die. We were also unimpressed with the combing and conditioner strategy, especially for the child with long hair.I resorted to removing the juvenile louse by hand. They were barely visible to the naked eye, on the hair roots. I crushed them between my finger nails.
It was difficult for the children to keep still long enough for my search and destroy mission unfortunately!
On my first attempt at a home louse remedy I decided on physical removal and removed 43 louse from one child ,and the daily retrieval rate diminished considerably thereafter. After a week had elapsed, no more louse were found and they did not return. In my opinion, the reason that adolescents appear to become immune is, I think sebum, wheras older people with louse in dry, oil defficient hair, become prone to louse attack again.
Home louse remedies also appear to be successful when lavender and Tea Tree oils are used.
Head lice are well adapted to live among the hair and scalp of humans..
Although head lice may be embarrassing and occasionally uncomfortable, they don't usually cause illness.
However, they will not clear up on their own and should be treated promptly.

No harsh chemicals in our natural treatment however, AND IT WORKS.
